I have my 20-year school reunion this weekend. The big question is: what do I wear?
Something like this?

LBD
You can't really go wrong with Classic, can you?
Or this?

Dressy jeans and top (bearing in mind that my legs look nothing like these pins!)
Comfortable and ideal for dance-floor moments, should the need arise.
Or something to stand out in the crowd?

A brightly coloured frock
As I own none of the above outfits, it will have to be my version of these basic themes.
What are your thoughts?

Given the venue, I'd go for option B... Also, I know what plans your classmates have for the pre-party party, so I think comfortable shoes are in order!
I would go option A with flats - how often do we get to frock up? Well, I dont often but always feels nice when I do. I am intrigued by LIPF pre-party knowledge though so would take her advice. Look forward to hearing what was in store. Safe travels!
I would frock up, but wear comfy shoes...
It's not often us mummies get to frock up, so use the excuse!!
If it were me (and I am a million miles from my school reunion, but....) I would go option b. Comfy. Confident. Drinking boots.
They all look good, I'd go for option c. A coloured dress always looks good.
I'd go for option one. You can never go wrong with a LBD. Just make sure to wear it with some stylish flats, that way you'll be comfortable and able to dance all night.

@LIAPF - Intriguing. I bet it involves Donelli by the river bank?
@Dancing in the rain and Emy - I like the idea of flats, you know that I do! Even better if they are boots!
@x0xJ - frocking up could be good. You are right that we don't often get to these days. It is a country event at the local Bowlo tho'.. could be a bit much?
@Lucy - I have to say I am leaning towards the jeans option. A good excuse to check out getting some new ones!
@Kelly - It doesn't surprise me that you like a splash of colour! I do too :)
You should go for what makes you feel confident. If you're confident and comfortable, you'll look great no matter what. And ENJOY!!!
Oh wow, a body double is a great idea?? Hmmmm, 20 years, crap that is coming up in a few years for me too. At the 10 year i was just thrilled to still be slim after 3 children (including twins) so i should start running now as i was fine until i hit 30 with my weight. Can't blame the 4th child.
I do love a classic frock, no matter what the venue!! Remember, personality is what anyone will remember!! Oh & that bunch of happy snaps of your 4 gorgeous children. Love Posie
An LBD with your cute new boots and my Elk apple tree pendant would be perfect. x
All of those options are gorgeous, I especially love that LBD though.
@Posie - my tummy will be entering the room before the rest of me. I blame the twins but I hadn't thought of the age thing. Maybe all of my peers will have the same problem? Nope. I don't think so :)
I love option B but I also like the sound of what Maxabella said...boots, LBD and Elk pendant.. classy, sexy and funky!
I like Option #3 because you can dress it up or dress it down!
