I only have two in diapers and wonder the same thing all the time. We have started (sorta) potty training at our house. The girls are only 1.5 years old though, so I'm trying not to push it. Yesterday one of my little ones followed me in the bathroom and watched me go "potty". I let her try to go on hers as well, instead she got off her potty, climbed into the bathtub and peed there. It might not have been quite what I was after, but she is getting the gist right? A life without diapers sounds amazing. :)
Hats off to you for managing 4 nappy clad bums - I struggle with 2 some nights!
Miss 3 is toilet trained during the day but night is a different story. First night last night in undies and I found myself stripping off the wet sheets and remaking her bed at 3am. Ick.
Nappies or wet sheets - You can't win!

I appreciate that you might slap me if I said "this too shall pass" because I would slap me. But I think it will end. Some day. But then again I don't know because I am 2 deep in nappies at night too. I actually can't be bothered with it for 3yro hence why she is still in a pull up. That's some bad parenting right there, and that MIGHT make you feel a little better?!
Oh dear... you have just reminded me of a fact I am trying to ignore. I will have two nappy clad bum's to deal with in a few short weeks.... Four must be a pain in the butt (excuse the pun!)
It will end.... and then it will be wet sheets. Doh!
My hubby is after me about every day...when are the girls going to be potty-trained?
I tell him that he has to agree to baby-proof the kitchen, through which they would have to walk to get to the bathroom. I'm NOT having a tiny toilet in the den! :)
I still think it's early for our girls, but I'm really hoping to be investing our diaper dollars elsewhere by the time they're 2 1/2!
Wow - four in diapers! We had three for the longest time. For potty training, we went on the theory that if we started them using the potty later, it would go faster. Honestly, at this point, I don't know if it worked...guess I blocked that out! It does end some day, though!
seven yrs later I still have one in a pull up... and I ask that question everyday.... I asked someone yesterday when her RADling got of the pull up road and she told me 10...should of seen my face lol
Oh, I don't envy you. Now that my kids have been potty trained for a while the whole training experience is a blur. I know it was long and gruesome and there were wet sheets to change, but in the end they do make it to the other side!
I must say I am at the good end of nappies now with only my 22 month old needing nappies. Now the hard part is the little accidents in the night that mean stripping the beds as everything is wet from that wee that they said that they didn't need to do before bed but obviously they did!!
Oww !It gets frustrating. I started to use Brolly sheets at night for my boys at 3.5 because we had some dry nights amongst wet ones. They were day trained from 2.5 almost. The brolly sheets worked. My SIL's theory was that if they know they have a nappy on they don't bother so much about getting up to pee. The brolly sheet (or Conni pad) saves changing both wet sheets (though mine wet the top as well sometimes). Mostly they save remaking a whole bed and don't have the icky feel of plastic macks under a sheet. Good luck.

Ditching diapers was such a great milestone... for me! I swear potty training lasted a year.
Oh my God. I LOVE that image. It will end. But then will come the brief period of sheet washing. Which is where I am right now.

I'm wondering the same thing. Ours have been day trained for over 6 months, but we're no where even close to ditching the diapers at night.
