Do you ever have those days when you talk from morning until night barely drawing breath?
Today was one of those days for me.
Meeting after meeting, phone call after phone call.
I am all talked out.
What do you do when you are sick of the sound of your own voice?

All. the. time.
I just stop talking. It's the only remedy. x
Agree with Maxabella. That's all you can do!
It's worse when you have to tell the same story more than once. Like when Hubby and I announced to friends we were moving to Sydney. We made that same phone call over and over and over again. I wish we'd just got them all in a room and announced it!
Now, sssshhhh....
not for a long time, but yes, I have had a few of those types of days. I knew someone who once went on a weekend retreat where you weren't allowed to talk, which I thought was a bit extreme, but hey, whatever floats your boat...
I was going to call you today, but i might leave it till you feel like talking again. Enjoy some peace and quiet. Have a glass of wine.
The other Friday I had 5 new lease sign ups for the day. That's a whole heap of talking.
So to recover...? I went home, drank a rum. Solves most things, I found!
My lovely husband expects me to talk, even if I am all talked out.
I actually have to say to him "I am tired but happy. I have nothing left." in order to dramatically lower his conversational expectations.
Then? #earlybed
Exhausting....cups of tea amongst the talking help.

read, or listen to music
