The hangover you have when you didn't have any booze

Image from here
Yesterday I discovered I can sleep anywhere.

I was 'woken' at the end of my CT scan by a highly amused technician stating 'I believe you may have had a Mummy nap' in there.

A splitting headache, dizziness and head spins* will do that to you I suppose? All on the back of a complete bender from the Geege who ended up sleeping at the store (I was trying to track him down at 4am {after being woken by the Minx} when he failed to return from a work function).

Our poor children. Two decommissioned parents.

I have a case of viral labyrinthitis. It is not fun but it I will live to fight another day.

I think I need more sleep though.

* Sounds like a hangover I know, but, sadly there was no alcohol involved.

Drop back later today for my first Weekend Rewind!

Poor thing! That sounds truly horrible, hope it clears up over the weekend.
Laughing at the Geege though. A camping shop is the perfect place for a kip!
Looking forward to rewind, though I might be a little late to the party. I'll be offline until tomorrow. :)

Oh you poor thing. I have had a dose of that and wound up in hospital as I was so nauseous I couldn't keep fluid down.

Hope you feel better soon.

Am also glad I am not the only one who has a missing "under the weather" husband at 4am occasionally....

Glad that you will live to see another day! Hoping you'll get more sleep this weekend and shake off that awful bug.

Yep, I doze off while I'm having my eyebrows done! Funny how odd things like that can seem like bliss, just being able to lie down for 10 minutes!

Hope you're feeling better soon - take care. xx

I want to come over there and shoosh you off to bed and take care of everything else for you so you can get the rest you need.
Being sick used to be fun. It meant days off of work/school. Now it's just an inconvenience.

Due to chronic sinusitis, I feel drunk and hungover all wrapped into one 24/7

No! That sound scary! I hope the dizziness goes quickly & doesn't drag on.

And I too am giggling at the Geege and his antics. Lovely husband has been known to resort to napping in his car or under his desk in the office on (drunken) occasions...

xx

Oh that's not good at all. I hope the viral labrinthitis is banished quickly.
May the sleep fairy be generous...

Wah! Cagg! If I didn't know you better, I might suspect that there was the odd vodka bottle hidden in the cistern... ?! x

Oh you poor thing, that is no picnic, especially with a tribe on school holidays.
With respect to the nap in the cat scan- that is a cracker. In our house where sleep is the most precious commodity we used to have a longstanding joke that if either of us got some extramarital sex, well good luck to them, but extramarital SLEEP that the other person was not getting, was grounds for DIVORCE!

You're owed a brilliant hangover soon.
By the universe - and hubs.

Heard from Allison that you weren't feeling well. Figured it was a cold. This sounds horrible! Feel better soon.

I have a question. Are you really sisters?

Hope you feel better soon.

We've got the girls first ear infection here. It must be the weather. Because thats what people blame!

Oh no, you poor thing. I hope are feeling better - and that Geege has recovered enough to look after the kids so that you can have some recovery time. x t.

Thanks for your comment on my blog!
I do have a karaoke post coming soon. Possibly as a guest post. Just waiting to hear back from someone.
It was a good night though!

Hope sleep has found you and the headache, dizziness and head spins have pissed off and left you alone.
Hope your feeling better soon x

The only time I've ever seen my ex husband cry, was when he had labyrinthitis. So, every cloud and all that :)

Get well soon x
