Weekend Rewind - Most controversial post

Thanks to everyone who joined in last week's Weekend Rewind. I loved the variety of posts that were selected by you as your favourites. Seana Smith introduced us to her International Man of Mystery, Naomi Hart to some interesting work uniforms and Life on Planet Baby planned her ultimate dinner party. Lots of fun to be had. Indeed.

The idea for this week's theme came from reading one of my favourite blogs, CityHippyFarmGirl. She was participating in a meme which had her select seven different types of posts (I think we will run through a few of the seven in the upcoming weeks), one of which was her most controversial

So please, this week let's relive your most controversial post. Maybe it is a political rant? Maybe an opinion piece? Maybe it is a less than circumspect parenting moment? Whatever it is, please link it up!

So if you are prepared to get started, the rules of this meme remain the same each week. All you have to do is become my friend, if we are not already acquainted, then link up a post from your archives and get reading and commenting. The more comments the merrier. And don't forget to Tweet, Facebook and/or Stumble your favourites to share the joy with other readers.

I will get us all started with my most controversial post: My thoughts on voluntary euthanasia.

Now, over to you...

Oh, I'm out this week. Can't think of anything remotely controversial on my blog! Will be fascinating to read everyone else's though

I am not sure I have a controversial one? A few rants here and there...I may have to pick one of those...

What InkPaperPen said. I've never really posted anything controversial, but then, I'm not very controversial myself. I'll be back next week! :D

Oh no! I don't do controversial :) I have dozens of opinions about everything but am terrible at articulating them so I stick to blogging about plants and puddings :) Will still be reading the others though.

Seeing that my blog is my 'happy place' all my controversial entries are still in draft mode. I even thought perhaps I'd start an anonymous blog to put all my rants and dark side in. But then I thought, why can't I just say it with my name connected to it?

For now I write my rants, but never hit the publish button.

One day... in the meantime, I hope my link will do!

(Loving where you've taken weekend rewind! Some great themes. I've been backreading!)

xx

I generally keep things pretty light on my blog. The post i've chosen to link up has to do with how I handled a situation between my son and someone else's child.
Comments I've received in the past have been very supportive of my actions, but I could see some people taking issue.
I remember at the time I was a little nervous about how readers might react.

It's embarrassing that I had so many to choose from. I swear I am not deliberately provocative, but maybe just a little too honest??? Anyway, I bypassed the FMS 'reply' post because I don't want to be called a bully all over again; I couldn't select the 'pretty colleague' post because I removed that one; so it was a toss up between the 'natural birth' post and the 'only child' post... Heh.

See you this arvie. x

Oh so easy. Controversy is my game :) Most controversial was totes the post that made me the most hated mother of nine in the country. I know I was because everyone told me...using words I'd never even heard before.

Thanks for the sweet mention, MM. I'm with InkPaperPen - controversy is not my game. I'll sit this one out, too. J x

I hope its ok that I've linked up with a post I used on a Weekend Rewind back in March. I'm suddenly aware I dont have many to pick from - might need to address this lack of ranting ;)

I have a few. But I left my parenting debate one's alone, such as breast vs bottle, disposables vs cloth, circumcision etc.

Ooh.. I don't think I've posted anything that could be considered controversial, at least not yet!

But I look forward to reading a few!
