A combination of both, trim the dead wood so new shoots and branches have a chance to thrive, and have a clean out and sew a new bed and see what springs up, make sure to add lots of sunshine and tea, I mean water. Big hugs to you xx
Sew some new seeds and grow new roots. Different things will mean the world to you now, look forward to the adventure ahead and enjoy the memories you have :)
Oh dig deep my friend, you will undoubtedly find some of those treasures you held so dear as a child. I totally understand losing some of them though. Sadly, birthdays and Christmas have been my casualties... and yet I can jump on a trampoline or ride the wildest rides in the theme park, til the cows come home. I'm quite the juxtaposition at times xo
I found that thinking less and doing more worked. I just got on with things and concentrated on what I really enjoyed. Gradually I wound my way to a new equilibrium.
Change is inevitable. Sometimes we just have to go with it.
I live in hope that my future holds big things. Because to date I'm kind of hanging in no mans land, feel like I have grown up so I'm not the young me, but still waiting to find out who I'll be when I grow up. Am I really 35 already?
Hello then aI first read the title I thought it said 'Throwing Up' and I thought - oh god no! Surely not?!!
This says most about me, after all I did have a dream I was pregnant recently... in my dream I was beside myself with horror... as I would be in real life!! But at my advanced age (hooray!) and with snipped hubby, I think I'm safe...
ANYWAY, just wanted to say... life is ALL about change, everything changes all the time... it's odd and it can be discombobulating. You do grow new branches and sew new seeds, you do, you will, you are.
I felt the same way a few months ago. It turns out that life was just making way for new passions and ways of being. Very exciting times! Be patient and those new branches will grow and take you by surprise!

Outgrowing a pot doesn't mean you have to throw away the smaller pot. You get in your new pot and keep the old one close by. x
That book is two swans kissing! :-)
